Background
IKRAM EDUCATION SDN BHD is located at Unipark Suria, Jalan Ikram-Uniten, 43000 Kajang, Selangor Darul Ehsan, and it is the registered owner of Infrastructure University Kuala Lumpur (IUKL), a private university registered under the Private Higher Education Institutions Act 1996. The IUKL Zakat Counter is an appointed IPTA/S Agent by the Selangor Zakat Board (LZS) and is one of the 13 IPTs appointed as assistant collectors by LZS. The establishment of the IUKL Zakat was approved in December 2014 and it started operating on January 1, 2015, under the administration of the University Excellent Office (UeXD) and is monitored by the IUKL Zakat Fund Committee.
